Well the public hearing went really well last night. The citizens were very cordial in their concerns and comments. There were some changes that came from the public hearing. That is the system working at it's best. We are elected to represent you the people. However we also need to know your thoughts and ideas on actions we take our we are considering to take. That happened last night and that is a good thing.
we recessed the public hearing to the the 18th of January at 5 PM. At that time we will take questions on the proposed new comprehensive plan and new zoning ordinance. If the Board of Aldermenan is satisfied with the final draft they will adopt it at the meeting immediately following the public hearing. Again thank you to those who showed up and got involved.
