Well I lost. But you know what? That is ok. You see an election does not define me. God has blessed me with a wonderful family, great friends and a fantastic church.
I so much enjoyed this campaign. I believe that I ran a good, clean, honest race. I put forth issues and answers to those issues.
The great thing about America is that we get to elect our leaders. We are not told who to vote for, or ran by the military. That my friends is one great thing.
I want to thank all of you who voted, weather you voted for me or not. Many a brave soul has fought and died for that freedom we enjoy. Also a BIG THANK YOU, to those who prayed, for and supported me. It is those prayers that got me through. Also I can not say enough about Brother Micheal Smith, my pastor. He prayed for me at the beginning of the race, during the race and after it was over. I love you brother.
So now I will redouble my efforts in making Monticello the greatest Town in Mississippi.
Again thanks and may God bless you and the great state of Mississippi.
