Last night, I participated in a Political Meet and Greet at the Lincoln Civic Center. The event was sponsored by Q-102- Super Talk, Lincoln County Teenage Republicans and the the Southwest MS Tea Party.
I would like to thank all the sponsors who made this event happen.
There were several state wide candidates there as well as local and regional candidates. After listening to the speeches of the state wide candidates, I can assure you it will be a interesting summer in Mississippi politics.
I would like to take this chance to encourage you the voters to make an attempt to attend these events where we the candidates will be speaking. I know I will do everything I can to visit you personally, but I also know that inevitably I will miss some. These events are a good way to hear where we stand on the issues. What our qualifications are and why we want to represent you the voter.
With that said. I will be at the Lincoln County Firefighters Hogwild Bar B Q cook off next week in Brookhaven, and I sure hope to see you there.
